Coming on or before January 1, 2010 - SMART Hooks - A new type of terminal fishing tackle which combines two selective shark repellents directly into the hook. Using a SMART Hook may help reduce shark bycatch, bite-offs and entangelements due to sharks, and may ultimately reduce the amount of monofilament discarded from commercial fishing. A SMART Hook contains no plastics, batteries, heavy metals, and is made via a green manufacturing process.

ABF GEL

January 2010 - ABF Gel (Attract Big Fish) is a bait treatment in the form of a time release gel. The bony fish attractant is also a moderate shark repellent. Successfully demonstrated with tarpon, tuna, cobia, bluefish, kingfish, and seabass! Available in 2oz brush bottles for recreational fishing and 10kg drums for commercial fishing.
